Hi Guys,I had a similar problem with a Marantz CD63 KI and found that by using quality audio CDR's I get a reliable burn each time. EAC will tell you if it has errors extracting or burning audio. I think it is because at the time of design the players were not supposed to be CDR compatible and have trouble with reading from data quality media.
I also found that burning at 1x produced the best results.Redeye
