I beg to differ. Some things are priced quite a bit lower in Canada compared to the US. I bought a Toyotomi portable air conditioner for a few hundred dollars less in Canada (and that's a few hundred US dollars). Big ticket items are a great buy in Canada and the cost of living for everyday items is about the same. My US dollar goes a long way in Canada. :-)
