Because the SPL plot says the on-axis frequency response is roughly 400Hz-5000Hz & during that range the impedence goes from 8.ohms down to 6.ohms back up to 10.ohms. Nominal impedence basicly means the average impedence during its acoustical operational bandwidth range. The 6.ohms I reduced the equivalent output impedence to is irrevelant to the manufacturers speaker specifications. If you can use the software you can check my graphicly derived numbers of Rdc=6.0 & Le=0.26mH with the plot. Did you try my 6.0ohm + 7.3uF Zobel which correlates to those numbers?
