The nail has been hit squarely on the head there, Todd! I'm a recent convert to the world of MC carts and especially to the OC-9. It is VERY quiet and gets the inner grooves right. This is a first for me- very few carts do both well, and NONE that I've heard in the MM camp, where I sat for the better part of 20 years!
As for the wet play issue, I used to do it, and years later, after having most of those LPs go through the Keith Monks cleaner at least once, I can say there is signifigant HF lost on each of them now. CRAP, if I only knew then what I know now...
