Hmmm thanks ..... that's a good point ..... that the amp probably would have something for DC protection , so it is probably safe to remove the output electrolytic DC protection caps on my CD67. I was initially hesitant to do so. Didn't occur to me to consider that. Too one-track mind ..... :-)

Appreciate the pointers on the clock and regulators. I have read the numerous postings on the clock mods available (from LCAudio, Audiocom, Trichord & GuidoTent) and also about about adding seperate regulators. Hope to do these as well , but i've got to take things one step at a time. For now, i intend to optimise the caps/resistors first and change the opamp to the National LM6172IN. :-)
