Really? I thought that the digital volume controls were always implemented on the filter chip, which would be after the digital out as the filter outputs an 18-bit 8x oversampled datastream. So you're sure the digital out has volume control?I'd really like to implement a transformer-based attenuator...but to do it right with the S&B trannies will cost some money. I know Bent Audio is coming up with a kit. Unfortunately, that upgrade is a little beyond my price range now. The DI/O looks like so much fun because I can mod it as I go along.
