Hi, I followed Greg Weavers recipe, which is no longer posted. Anyway he recommended using 5/16" threaded 125 grain archery field points. They are inexpensive and work very well. When I bought mine, the archery store had threaded inserts that I placed in the holes, that I drilled, and then screwed the tips into them. I use a combination of Lens' and DIY Quick and Dirty bass traps. At this time I'm using one lens between my speakers and two behind by listening position. I think one would be sufficent, but I had two. The ones behind my seat, seem to breakup some bass waves. I have also used them on the sides, both as wings to the speakers and at first reflection points. Current setup doesn't allow for either of these. The lens' in front bsically helps with soundstage. The bass traps are what really improved my room. I also use a set of Corner Tunes.
Jeff
