The so called "white paper" from Tripath looks more like used white paper to me.Brown paper is a better description AFAIK.They are trying to conceal what they are really doing.I build real spread spectrum amplifiers for the military. What Tripath is selling is an ordinary class D amplifier with the clock frequency pushed higher at low signal levels. While this is a good idea it is hardly "groundbreaking" and their "white paper" is a joke.Switching amplifiers sound very different than regular amplifiers.Just because they sound different doesn't mean they are better or worse. You want a real spread spectrum amplifier? I can sell you one for $31K. Of course that does not include the F15E that it fits into.I'm glad you are happy with your Tripath amplifier.
