No worries.I have a tendency to be over-excited when something (seems to) work(s) really good, sometimes (I realize) to be disappointed when the novelty has faded.
No such thing, I'm ready to bet, with the MKL caps: there' nothing objectionable with them as far as I can tell, no character that would sound seductive at first then annoying after "wow" factor is gone. It's no secret that I'm "cheap" due to a limited income combined with the price of living in Brussels; so I keep trying cheap alternatives to the "audiophile approved" boutique parts. Chinese DAC, class T amplifiers, home-brew horn speakers, IKEA butcher blocks, refurbished second-hand electronics... you name it ^^ it's a lot of fun and most visitors love the way my system sounds so, until now, in all modesty I guess I pretty much nailed it.
