I would've have thought the AP/C-004 would also be aimed at vibration control and shielding as well, and might have been somewhat comparable with the M1/F1, which I consider to be the best out there, despite being a little less assembly friendly compared to the Furutechs or the new AP/C series. At the prices the M1/F1 go for, it's quite painful to get them for all my cable needs, and the AP/C series' pricing would make a good halfway thing.

BTW, I've been using M1/F1 with Acoustic Revive Power Sensual 18000 cable (the old PCOCC version, not the newer Triple-C version) and Acoustic revive's carbon fiber jacket for years, and I've found it to be great, and better than the same cable terminated with Furutech FI-50, which while being more weighty sounding, is less coherent and agile as compared with the Oyaide. Eventually, I think I'll get some Power Sensual 18000 Triple-C to try.
