This seems wrong-headed to me to even try it, but if you do try it, keep in mind that any vibrations of a heatsink are a way in which the heat sink dissipates energy, other than by heating up. If you dampen the vibrations, AND at the same time do so by applying a material that also insulates the heat sink and so impedes heat dissipation, beware of the circuit overheating.
