I read through those posts, very interesting.
You mention that a good solution is to have a different outside and inside shapes, and that the inside shape could be made by layering panels inside the main enclosure.
1) If you were doing this, what shape would you cutout of the layers? It sounds like an irregular polygon would be ideal if the goal is all walls non-paprallel. I could see using a five sided shape with each side of a different length. This still leaves the back wall as flat, but perhaps I could angle the back away with a separate board leaning back. Any practical suggestions?
2) You suggest the sphere as the optimal external shape. I am confused in that I thought the idea was to have the driver at different lengths from the edges of the baffle. Wouldn't a round baffle make the distances equal?
