I use DH cones under my equipment, I'm taliking about a damper for up top. Also, the ceramic tile has the tendency to reflect sound, not really resonate itself. Also, using two layers bound with epoxy and with the silicone tape has its own benefit-by not using any one substance alone, if one layer doesn't damp a frequency, another should.
