You can easily hear the latter in resolving system, including changing direction of a stock fuse. Would you expect that to be mentioned by the manufacturer?
Me neither. Meanwhile, there are pretty plausible speculations, including in this forum, as to why it could actually be the case (from manufacturing standpoint).
