Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I'm considering a DIY project as an upgrade to my REL Storm sub and would love to receive recommendations for good drivers to use, likely in the 18-21" range. Over at HomeTheaterShack I've found several cabinet design projects I could make and got driver recommendations, but thought I should also ask here to fellow audiophiles.
My room is 15'x30'x8', and I only do stereo. The one recommendation gotten so far is TC Sounds LMS Ultra, Maelstrom, TC LMS-R (in order of performance). These are brands I didn't know of, and TC only sells thru Parts Express, so I'm asking more knowledgeable folks.
Thank you!
