But I can tell you the conclusion that I did draw from the test at the time and that was that it didn't affect the sound on my machine but apparently did on some others since so many folks, including said friend, found that it did.
And I was biased a little by your nefarious activities. Since you are still peddling colored crape paper (have I got that right?) for CD drawers that means to me that whatever the problem is it hasn't been universally resolved if actually improved at all. From recent experiences with multiple computer drives it surely hasn't.
