"The phone doesn't have to be in the room either - if it's a cell phone, the call can be made from the car or work"
So if you call from work, your "magic" somehow knows where you live and will automatically make your system at home sound better?
Is the home system affected if you leave the cell phone in the car?
Since it sounds like the phone itself is affected (0r the cause of the "effect"), does every sound system that has the phone in the room sound better?
If I am at a concert and call, will the PA system sound better?
If it does, then that is some serious vodoo.
