That's a relief and it makes sense to me. Leastwise the nails and ducts do. Given the low-Z of speaker wires I doubt wood is an issue but vibrating the wires might be. I probably have little of that in the suspended sections as it's damped by the fibreglas and decoupled from the floor mechanically.
Not bad considering that I put it there just because it was an easy way to keep it off the ground...
