If the output circuit use op amp with dual (+/-) power supply, the lytic cap will see reverse bias voltage on it on half of the cycle, it should be non-polar lytic if you want to use lytic cap. Most low cost amp will not use non-polar lytic in the op amp circuit that uses dual (+/-) power supply.
