Thanks for your input - now I'm envious! I assume you know about the tape input sounding alot better than inputs that go throught the selector switch, besides that my only other suggestion would be to try some Siemens 6DJ8's. They are my favorite, but that's personal. In fact you might be interested (I'm betting your from the UK) - I came across some Siemens 6DJ8's with a falcon crest on them. Turns out they are (oops Freudian slip, I wish they were still made -I mean "were") made for the Royal armed forces. Best balance, most realistic I've heard yet. I've also had some great results putting the M3A on DHCones (I abhor Black Diamond RC's). Synergistic Research AC master coupler made an improvment, though no where near as big of a differnece as with my Aragon amps.Cheer's back at you,
