Hi.
Most commercial makes of linear PSs are not. You better make sure you get the regulated linear PS which can be pretty costly unless you can build one yrself. That's does not warrant its regulation will be as good as switch mode PS.
If you're now happy with the sound from yr laptop, leave it & power your audio stuff on a SEPARATE powerline with RF powerline filter/conditioner exclusively for your amps to reduce the RFI emitted from yr laptop going into your audio stuff.
