I build all of my own equipment, except CDP, and always use a roll-your-own 3-wire linecord with the 3rd wire grounded to the alunimun chassis without incident. However, the PCB grounds are isolated from the chassis. I also use a separate isolated gd. for each channel. This results in much more fine detail being resolved. If you don't have separate isolated gds. for each channel you do not have true dual mono construction. Try it, your ears will love it.HAppy Grounding !
