Here's some more obvious differences: The blades are not polished like Oyaide (you can see pitting of the base metal under the plating). The blue shell has threaded metal inserts for the screws that attach it to the face (you can see the inserts if you look carefully at one of the eBay photos). Oyaide does not use metal inserts. Also, the cable stress relief clamp is transparent blue like the shell, while Oyaide uses a black plastic. This plug is a counterfeit, and has nothing to do with Oyaide...The US importer of Oyaide posted a warning about counterfeit products (see link below). Since the eBay seller did not list the AC plug as "Oyaide", I thought I would give the plug a try. My problem is that it's an actual counterfeit with Oyaide markings, not that it's a cheap "lookalike". I can't post what I think of it's performance since it would give an unethical counterfeit product more credibility than it should deserve. If it did not have Oyaide markings I would be glad to talk about it's performance.
