Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I just received a pair of new amps and have scanned the schematics, one main and one for the protection circuitry. I'll e-mail them to anyone interested, but give me a clue as to file size desired; this file is BIG. jeffreybehr(at)cox(dot)net.Interesting to me: 1. Two power transformers, one for high Voltage and one for low-Voltage stuff such as filaments. 2. The 10 coupling caps apparently are still paper-in-oil type; they're painted green and are rectangular in shape. 3. They're bypassing both poles of the main PS with small film caps, 0.15/630s I believe, 'chicklet' type. 4. The chassis and workmanship are visibly better than in the 2 805s I bought about a year ago.
