I'm considering purchasing some Herbie's tube dampers but wonder how effective they will be used on my amps in conjunction with Machina Dynamica Promethean Base isolation platforms. These are said to isolate to about 2 Hz. Anyone know if the platforms cover the whole matter, or are there other issues at play as well?Herbie's offers a money-back guarantee so it wouldn't be a problem to simply try them out for myself. It would be nice to know if good results are to be expected first though, as whether both input and output tubes should receive dampers.
