Having a bad day Jeff??You are correct in saying that it may seem to the "outsiders" that my description of what I heard is overblown but having been into high end audio for over 20 years, I know what a "subtle" and what a "profound" difference is. You do NOT need "golden ears" to hear this!
I for one am growing tired of the naysayers who say "You can't possibly hear any difference from upgrades such as this" but have no desire to purchase the product and make an informed decision based on their own impressions!! Just because YOU have a hard time hearing aural differences does NOT mean I/others have the same aural impedements.
Even my girlfriend was is NOT interested in audio at all but the music side of it, had a hard time believing the difference. It was substantial enough that she sat speechless for several minutes after the song ended. Then asking to hear it again..and again. She is my main judge of tweaks to my system(s) and when it sounds good to her and grabs her attention, I know that it is significant!Cheer up Jeff...there is hope.
