...IMO the descriptive term any of us should be using to describe a change in sound quality that some of us CAN'T HEAR. It's no wonder the tin-eared make fun of us when we use terms like that.Ken, I'm not saying that you can't hear the aural improvements or that they're not significant to you. My point is that all of us should be more thoughtful...careful...in describing changes in the sounds we hear.
If 'absolutely profound' describes this change that's so subtle some of us can't hear it, how would you describe changes of a much-greater degree, as in, for instance, those between 2 different speaker systems?
