The WBTs will have a significant effect on your cables. If you are able to solder them yourself, you'll save on the costs of having them done by someone else. They're sold by the Parts Connexion in Canada, or you could just call WBT USA (Kimber Kable in Utah) and buy them.
These make a significant increase in signal purity. It's like the difference between a 2 lane country road and a modern, 10-lane, superhighway. The only problem is their break-in period (it's probably just as much the solder as the connector) of 100+ hours, although you'll hear some improvement immediately.
