The glass is a problem.

Along with the side and back walls, the glass doors will add severe coloration problems.

The best approach is to remove the glass and leave the space open. If this won't work, replace it with acrylic (not Lexan or any other polymer), and provide some discreet damping around the edges and at the corners of the sheets.

Also, be sure to have some thick throw-rugs in front of your speakers. The best sound I've heard from B&W speakers was when Jiro Nakamichi had some set up at a CES show a few years ago. His team had them up on bricks and had towels wrapped into cylinders and stuffed into the space under the speakers and between the bricks. I'm sure you and your wife can come to agreement on decorative ideas for treating the floor and speaker supports.
