better when placed in power supplies first. Don't just add them to the power cords, they need to be placed after the transformers and before the diode bridges. That's where they make the most dramatic difference. I always start off with the power supplies and then place them in the signal path. Personally, I feel that the RCA filters are a sort of half assed effort to use the devices as most people are afraid to install them in their components.
