Chris it was subtle, but there was a difference. I think the music had a little more density to it, and imaging seemed a touch better.On another note I made a few configuration changes (changed transport to Toshiba 3950 after reading an article in stereophile) and changed phase of hi pass on bi-amplification. This seemed to yield more results then my sitting forward in the room.
I'm trying to convince my dad to take over my listening room in the basement with the McIntosh setup (when I go back to law school, I'm taking my rig with me)--its like pulling teeth, but I may get him to crack and that would enable use to do a few more things as far as room tweaking.
In the mean time, any more thoughts?
