....maybe I could scrounge around the surplus yards, and find some "silk-serve" mini-conductors, braid them up nice and pretty, and throw on some Rat Shack RCA's....can't be that hard, and shouldn't take more than 30 minutes and cost more than a couple of bucks, huh? I could call them the Z-Dow's.Sure. Why not?
Yeah it's been done before, and yeah it's "an already existing, mature technology". But Jim Wang put his bank account behind the design, and he thought of it first. If it's been done before and it's an already existing, mature technology, then what exactly did Jim Wang think of first?
I'm tired of seeing the "R & D" attitude, trying to copy someone's elses' hard-earned effort and years of experience. This is about more than just re-designing the bobby pin, Steve. It's not even re-designing the bobby pin.
You want to know what it's like? It's EXACTLY like the InterFace. I took some audio input transformers which are typically used in the professional and broadcast industries, and put 'em in a box so that they could be used with equipment which didn't typically use them.
That's not more than re-designing the bobby pin. It's not even so much as re-designing the bobby pin. It's a no-brainer. If it's anything akin to bobby pins, it's nothing more than selling bobby pins to men. The bobby pins are the same. They serve the same function. They're just packaged differently and sold to a different market is all.
