Al:I read one of your earlier posts on the Power Wraps. Do you mean to wrap the interconnect or the chips? My digital interconnect is already wrapped with several Original Cable Jackets, which are wired to earth ground. It would be hard to fit the coils around the chips. Would it be better to try ERS cloth to insulate the ICs?
I suspect that there would have to be some very severe RFI to cause the midrange hash that I'm hearing with these buffers. If so, the RFI is not affecting other areas of the CD player: I take out the buffers and the grain disappears-- and, alas, the presentation becomes a tad less dynamic and a little shrunken.
Regards,
Dave
