Basic advice is to NOT add stuff that can vibrate to a speaker stand assembly. YOur storage drawer is lovely for esthetics, but totally contra-indicated for sound and especially for vibration control!!! YOu also don't want a cabinet with interior empty space.Build a speaker stand strictly for placement and vibration control of the speakers and nothing else. Otherwise, it will be nice but sonically inferior furniture, which is too bad, but the breaks.
