I have been thinking of some inexpensive ways to isolate my speakers. A few ideas I came up with were
1. Just a concrete patio block or granite slab under the speakers
2. Built a small wooden frame filled with sand and then topped with either the concrete/granite block or hardwood blockHas anyone tried either of these two mods?? What was the outcome?? Im assuming you would get tighter bass?? Any other inexpensive ideas?? I got the idea after reading on a forum about how much better some speakers sounded on top of Mana acoustics isolation products and thought maybe there was a good inexpensive DIY solution??
