Re: CAT 5 versus CAT 5e versus CAT5e "plenum"

Cat5e does not automatically mean teflon insulation. For that, you need "plenum" rated cable. It's not necessarily much more expensive but it is harder to find. I know for certain that my current Cat 5e is not teflon insulated

I was not aware that 5e meant OFC - the manufacturer specs I've seen for 5 versus 5e versus plenum haven't mentioned this. Can anybody confirm?
