Very good value for money: $15 hospital socket, $20 10ga wire, $10 20A dedicated circuit breaker = $45. Made a difference in my older house: lower noise, darker silence, and tape deck now runs correct speed. Please note that I have an old house with crazy circuits and old wiring so the gain was pretty noticable. My voltmeter indicated a 2V increase. I was told adding a second ground rod might be dangerous so I didn't do that.
