Balanced power does notr necessarily have to limit dynamics, just as adding an isolatin transformer does not have to either.I think the biggest problem is that folks add up the watts, and try to get the smallest transformer to do the job, and in order to maintain dynamics, you need some transformer "headroom". The folks who do use a transformer significantly larger than the sum total of the watt draw do not seem to have problems with any limitation of dynamics.
