My room is not quite a cube...Yes, terrible! It has responded, positively, to every room treatment that I've thrown at it! I'm sure most listeners rooms aren't nearly as, acoustically, poor as mine. My point being, what could be considered optimal for one listener's situation, would be overkill in an other's. This holds true for vibration management as well.
Now I will parrot the point that every listener needs to determine, for themselves. Fortunately, we have this place. The many posts I have read here helped me chose solutions with more certainty that it will improve MY situation. I have reaped much musical enjoyment from the knowledge I've gleaned from the post on this site. I suspect it is more than the sum of knowledge I retained from all the audio rags I've read. I love this place!!
