how do the left and right channel quiescent currents check out? on my solid state amp, the bias pot for the left channel was going bad probably oxidizing and when i checked both channels quiescent currents, i had more than twice the current on the right channel which was louder. i replaced both pots with better sealed multiturn pots rebiased, and balance was great again. that problem bugged me for a long time before i finally figured it out. might be worth a check, if you haven't already. good luck, alley-kat
