thanks for all the replies ...Does the voltage rating specifies the rectified voltage output from the rectifier ??
I understand that the ratings are actually the reverse breakdown voltage , so does this specifies the rectified voltage ??
My int amp presents a 55v of rectified voltage ?? So must i pick a diode which rates at 150-200V ??
What bout the current rating, would it be better to use a high-current one such as 16A but 100v diode compared to a 1.1A but 200V diode ??
