...but the resonant frequency isn't dependent solely on sitffness but also on the mass that the spring is coupled to. For a given compliance, increasing the mass will lower the resonant frequency.But yeah, if his resonant frequency is up above 100Hz as he says below, it's not going to be very effective. But it could be reduced by adding mass.
