If you have agricultural equipment shops around they go through many many bearing sets prepping for harvest.Those guys save everything re-usable "just in case".Most of those are changed out the moment they make noise and the bearings contained are about 1/2" chrome steel.Stop by Ag shop and ask nicely and they may torch some bearing races open and give you few dozen.Suggest you ask what they like in the way of refreshment and return with it on ice.
