I posted a picture with my initial post. It's just a stamped piece of brass that looks a bit like an automotive frost plug. It has no stem at all. It's made for drawers but I can't see it being very good for its intended purpose since there isn't much to grab, just about a half inch that the friction of your finger tips is supposed to grab.
