I suspended my Oracle Mk.2 from a piece of acrylic suspended from the ceiling with four double runs of 10 lb. fishing line and the improvement over just sitting on a particle board stereo stand was huge. Everything improved: soundstage, detail, frequency extremes etc. It was a stunning improvement. My Oracle suspension never wanted to dial in just right with perfect vertical movement. Now it is and it takes the platform with it at the same frequency of about 3 Hz at about half the amplitude. The Oracle's bubble level hardly budges when I push the suspension down and let it go over half an inch.
