I have some ENACOMS installed across treble section speaker terminals of my bi-wired speakers (Fultons). I noticed pretty much same improvements you did, but I do not experience the shifting of the voices back and forth you mentioned. I don't think the ENACOMS would cause this effect, and have not heard anything to the effect that ENACOMS cause ringing or amp damage you suspect. In fact, the ENACOMS are advertised to stop "ringing distortion," not create it. It is possible that this phenomenon will disappear as ENACOMS "break in" - I noticed it took about a week for this to occur on my system. There may be another explanation, not related to the ENACOMS, for why you are experiencing the shifting of the voices.
