I purchased a 500' roll of 18g silver coated Cu MilSpec wire on Ebay for $50. I am running two 30W 6550 mono blocks with a speaker wire
run of 35'. I have the speakers biwired and I run the wire under
the floor through the crawl space. Each wire is strung thru a
drilled wooden spreader attached under the joists with 4" of separation to each wire. I like the performance exceptionally well and have found nothing to find fault with. I've had people audition the system and without exception there have been no comments about poor performance, or smearing or dullness. Everyone has been blown
away. The sound is so pleasing that I listen to it an average of
4 plus hours an evening and never tire of it.
