Hi Tony;I have experimented with silver-coat wire's, with teflon shield,
the lead was 2,5 mm .
The sound is more clear , if you have a amp thats not so dynamic and bright , you can try it . Otherwise the sound become agresive,
thats my experiment , some people love it , I don't.
Even in the powersupply and other connections I dont use it anymore,
the only good connections I'v made is from the wall to the amps , there is it good for,and then a little twisted.
I think just copper is the best with silicon shield, for all connections.
