The salesman says it's unusual for capacitor value to be that high? I'm curious to know what experience he's had designing crossovers.
As far as replacement, go for the mid and tweeter series capacitors first as they will have the most influence on performance. If the price for replacement of the shunt caps is too high, by-pass them with small value (.1uF 100V) film caps. Replace the resistors with non-inductives (10 watt minimum). Leave the inductors alone unless you can replace them with new ones with the same inductance AND resistance. Be sure and note the polarity of the drivers so you can re-assemble properly.
