Hi, I have a pair of AR C.L.401 model speaker, 3 way bookself speaker (1" tweeter, 2" mid-range, 7" woofer).
I want to replace it's capacitors. When I opened the box, I found 3 100V capacitors, 20 m.f., 55 m.f., and 150 m.f.
I try to buy the replacement, 1) it's hard to found good qaulity musical capacitor with such large value (e.g. 150 m.f.)
2) The price are exceptionally high
The saleman said it's abnormal for 3-way bookselves speaker with such large value capacitor in crossover.
Is he correct? Any suggestion? Thanks.
